Our story
Why CleverTutors exists
CleverTutors was founded on a simple belief: preparing for an exam should make a child a better thinker, not just a faster test-taker.
Our founder has spent a career in schools as a classroom teacher, a Head of English and a senior leader responsible for stretching and challenging high-attaining pupils. Time and again, the children who did best weren't the ones who had completed the most practice papers. They were the ones who understood what a question was asking and could reason their way to an answer.
CleverTutors was built around that insight. We teach only Years 3 to 6, so every lesson is designed for this age group and the exams that fall within it. And we teach in small groups of five, because children learn as much from each other's thinking as from the teacher.
