How we teach
Live lessons, small groups and a clear structure, designed to help children understand, not just memorise.
Inside a lesson
Every lesson follows four steps
- Step 1
Warm up
A quick puzzle or recap question to get everyone thinking.
- Step 2
Teach
A new skill or question type, explained clearly with worked examples.
- Step 3
Practise
Children try questions on the shared whiteboard and explain their thinking.
- Step 4
Review
We check understanding and set a short task for home.
Live online classroom
Lessons run on a private video link with a shared digital whiteboard. All your child needs is a laptop or tablet.
Groups of five
With five pupils at most, every child answers questions, explains their thinking and gets feedback.
Reasoning first
We teach why answers are right, so children can handle questions they've never seen before.
Exam technique
Timed practice is introduced gradually, so exam conditions feel familiar by the time they matter.
Tracking progress
Home practice is marked, and parents receive a written report every half term.
Safety online
Password-protected lessons, no recording without consent, and a parent or carer at home during sessions.
